The trend of startups is common these days. The perks such as financial independence, democratic management are some of the reasons why people these days are quitting their 10 to 6 job and are planning to have their own venture. But what we tend to overlook is the responsibility. Once a business plan is in place, the next step is to focus on keeping the company safe. As the owners of the startups, people often find themselves lost in the questions like what are the basic agreements and contracts?What type of organization is to be formed? How to hire and deal with employees?

Workcave organized a small talk on legal aid for start-ups with Mrs. Sonia Chauhan, a corporate lawyer who is working with startups from last 8 years as the speaker. The talk was helpful to the young budding entrepreneurs around the block. Some of the major concerns which were addressed are naming a business, incorporation of the business, handling contracts, intellectual property, hiring of employees, and resolving of disputes. The talk on these certain topics was followed by a doubt clearing session in which Mrs. Sonia gave answers to the questions that the people had.
