WORK LIFE BALANCE

People these day are running short of time in every aspect. They don’t have time for themselves  because of the work pressure,stress,etc. This shortages of time is bringing lot of stress for working people . Everybody wants time for their families ,for themselves , but are unaware of managing work and family all the at the same .
To guide people how to manage your work life and personal life , a session was conducted by Workcave , a Coworking space in Chandigarh on 15 September 2018 with Mrs Pooja Dhiman as speaker.

Work–life balance is the term used to describe the balance that an individual needs between time allocated for work and other aspects of life. Areas of life other than work-life can be, but not limited to personal interests, family and social or leisure activities.

Pooja Dhiman having 15 years of practical experience in dealing with people.She Helps in developing goals and strategies to helping them how to tackle and solve the problems.Her PASSION is to make positive difference in others lives.

                                                   

The session started with the introduction of Work Life Balance Process. What is work life balance? Followed by the four stages that comes under Work Life Balance process, which includes
●Self-assessment
●Exploration
●Implementation
●Evaluation
And each stage was explained individually by practically rating yourself from 1-10 on the aspects like financial, wellness, emotional, spiritual, profession and relationship. And every attendee was told to pick the least rated category and start to work on it. Because to balance work life and personal .The person should be equal in all the above aspects. Then the third step , which is implementation, how do i get there? Develop a strategic action plan to obtain your goals on monthly , weekly or yearly basis .Remember you goal need to be specific, measurable,action oriented , realistic and time sensitive. After completing this step . Then comes the evaluation.

Determine what went right and what went wrong, list down all the right things to continue it the same way and also list down all the wrong things to work on it separately.
The work life balance is an art and by following all the above strategy you can balance work life and personal life happily and easily.

The session lasted for about 3 hours , towards the end of the session , the speaker personally answered all the queries of the attendees. It was a very successful event and the audience requested for more such events.
